It offers an open, shared, but safe and secure environment, supported by cutting-edge digital and physical technologies and infrastructures, where Noles across campus and around the world can find a community of experts, in person and online, with the time and resources to help them turn their ideas for innovative technology projects into finished products.

Technical consultant. Total award $5,000,000. in collaboration with Chomonics. (SOL-519-13-000007). Strengthening El Salvador's Higher Education System requires addressing three mutually reinforcing elements; human capital, relevance and quality of curricula, and institutional capacity and effectiveness. FSU will develop and deliver components of the listed elements.

RFA-492-13-000003. Submitted to USAID | Philippines. The proposed research requests $32 million over 5 years. The proposed work represents a partnership between Research Triangle Institute, the University of Michigan, and South Carolina State University.

This grant was awarded in order to provide archived television, radio broadcasts, news accounts, and interviews with people who were affected by an ecological disaster.

Adams, J. (PI). Multimedia Instructional Design: An interactive online course. Funded by the Sloan Foundation. (June 1 – August 31, 2000). Total Award $6,000.
This grant provided funding for the creation of an online course for the University of Massachusetts distance education program – this course was one of the first offered online by the continuing education program.

Adams, J.  (PI). BU Web TV: Digital Video and Archive System. Funded by the Boston University Instructional Technology Grant Program. (October 1999 – May 2000). Total Award $11,500.
This grant provided funding to establish an online broadcast system for the university population, featuring guest lectures, archived popular shows, and classes.
