Headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida, Pilot Media designs and develops custom fixed-wing aircraft for search and rescue, with an interest in open water- search and rescue. Our aircraft are experimental, solar-powered, and are equipped with Artificial Intelligence search capabilities. This allows autonomous searching that is potentially far more accurate than airborne human spotters. Our aircraft are intended to fly search patterns, day and night for up to 5 days without returning to base. Our AI algorithms are trained to find people, boats and other objects that are floating, as well as wildlife, such as sharks, ‘gators and turtles.
